What is involved?

With the individual very much at the heart of the process, we will explore your many strengths and abilities in a structured way.

Our training not only aims to raise awareness of the implications of dyslexia in the workplace but also gives thought to the practical considerations of ensuring organisations have an environment where everyone can succeed. 

Dyslexia coaching provides hour-long sessions to assist individuals recognise their strengths and learn to use strategies, tips and tools to ease workplace challenges.

Having identified areas of focus, we work closely with you to introduce you to a range of techniques and resources to foster greater independence and functioning at work.

Where does the coaching take place?

Some of our clients prefer to meet with us outside of the workplace. Alternatively, we come and meet with you in your place of work in London, Bromley, Orpington, Beckenham, Central London or surrounding areas.

Dyslexia Awareness Training

Dyslexia is highly complex and diverse – way beyond purely giving people more time to read documents.  For example, organisations may need to consider individuals with strengths around innovative problem-solving that can benefit clients; there may also be individuals with dyslexia who are more likely to show their true potential if they are given longer to process spoken information, rather than be spontaneous.

What is involved?

Initially through a one-hour bespoke presentation, our specialist helps explore how dyslexia can impact effectiveness at work and how organisations can try to ensure everyone is at their most productive.

Workplace Needs Assessments

Providing practical recommendations to support and enhance performance at work, a Workplace Needs Assessment is conducted by a qualified practioner to identify reasonable adjustments which will support the dyslexic individual.

What is involved?

A Workplace Needs Assessment typically involves an indepth evaluation of the role and its requirements plus a visit to the workplace. As well as being presented in a formal document, all recommendations are discussed with the individual in person or virtually.
